Go Pro HD I think that's all they're called.. mount to your handlebars and ride away. Look up test videos of Go-Pros on YouTube, find which one has quality video to your liking.

I plan on buying a strap for my helmet and videotape when I go mountain biking. I also plan to take up skiing so it can be useful there.

Just for reference.

A 48 minute high school football game averaging 120 plays at an average of 14 seconds per clip.

Averaging 1680 seconds or 28 minutes. @ 1080p 60 FPS this was around 6-9 GB range.

Just giving you a reference to go on for the file size.

So if I do a 4 hour ride I may not have enough. I read that the 64 gb sandisks corrupt easier for some reason. don't know why.

I personally have 128 GB Class 10 SD cards that work fine. (Though, note I'm using lower mid-grade sport cameras. One step below having to pull SSD's out of the camera and USB3.0 Card Readers.)

Just make sure you reformat any 64 GB+ SD Card to something the camera you intend to use it with can actually read. (Most can't read exFAT file systems as they don't want to pay for the licensing.)

Btw, the reason the "Corrupt" is because the fat32 filesystem has a couple flaws due to its age that make large files in certain situations, not possible.

EDIT: Note, GoPro supports exFAT filesystems so those 64 GB+ SD Cards should work without a hitch. Just make sure their class 10 and have the best Write speed in MB/s you can find from the available selection. (If your write speed is too low, you won't be able to take advantage of stuff like the high framerate 720p, etc.) Anything above 30ish MB/s should work.

Remember, SanDisk isn't the only company in the Flash Memory market. High ratings and customer reviews are a shopper's best friend.
